A Balanced Diet

John 6:56-57 – “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.”

There are many hidden scriptures wrapped up in this statement made by Jesus. One of those scriptures is found in Mark 12:29-31 where He quoted a verse He made hundreds of years prior.

“The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

One of the revelations Jesus is referring too when he says to drink His blood and eat His flesh, is that the Love and relationship that we have with His Spirit (blood) should be the same measure with people (flesh) as well. If not, our diet is completely off and our life will become unbalanced, causing the body to lack the substance that it needs to stay healthy and live a vibrant life.

In other words, Jesus commands us to love people the same as we do the Lord in our personal relationship with Him. You can now understand why most people left having a deep relationship with Him. They loved drinking the blood, (Spirit, manifestations, presence, etc.) but not the flesh, (people, attitudes, trust, etc.)

Let’s get a balanced diet back in the body, and watch it become strong and healthy again.
