Choice of Light or Darkness

Gen 1:1-5 – 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

When man has trials and it is dark, void, and his situation is completely out of control, he tends to lean upon the mentality that was programmed in his mind by the world.  He starts to panic, worry, and calls his situation demonic, dark, and there is no hope. He then starts to call upon God in fear and doubt that he will even make it through.  Yet, God has a different program or mentality. In the beginning when God made man, He put His mind and nature within him, but man lost it by listening to the world’s view. When creation began, God looked at darkness and void and began to get excited. So much so, He started brooding over the darkness. He then called His situation “Light” instead of cursing it and complaining how bad the darkness and trials were that was going on.  God mentality was this way when his son was without form and void. Jesus was so marred, He didn’t look like a man. But God saw His Son’s situation as “Light.” God looked down while His son sank into darkness, and started to be pleased with Jesus. God began to be stirred again. The Holy Spirit began to brood and be inspired, and at the moment of death, darkness, and demonic activity, He spoke, “Let there be “Light!” Out of that word came the resurrection Lord and completely a new man! The Man of the Universe! God again, called His situation “Light,” and not darkness.

Man can choose God’s mind and call his trials and darkness “Light” and live, or agree with the world and call it “darkness,” and die. Live today!
