Luke 21:25-28
“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

When man’s surroundings try to tell him that his world is falling apart, he can turn his mind toward the Spirit, and suddenly redemption draws within and his inner life is instantly filled with hope and clarity. Once this transformation occurs within, his surroundings and situations no longer seem hopeless, but hopeful. He then can make decisions that is needed to be made with authority and confidence. When their is chaos, it only is confirmation that a door has opened in heaven and God is about to descend, bringing redemption and good will to our lives. Keep your head up and not down upon your surroundings. The things on the earth are an illusion compared to what awaits to come from within heaven. Don’t get down, get up!

Luke 19:37-40 - Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, 38 saying:
“‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
39 And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”
40 But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”

As soon as overwhelming love, joy, or promises come riding in on man’s life, the enemy tries to shut it down through jealousy and accusations that subconsciously speak to the mind, ” You don’t deserve it.” Yet by Jesus’ answer back to the Pharisees, even creation wants us to enter in and enjoy all the promises that God has for us. Enjoy the wonderful overwhelming promises that are entering in your life. Resist the devil, by enjoying what God bring’s into your life.

Matt 17:25-27 – And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from strangers?”
Peter said to Him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

There are many things that can be said of this passage, but I would like to point out one small snippet of what Jesus could be trying to convey. Here it is – God can pay off our debts in anyway He wants to. If you are thinking God will pay off your debt in one certain way, you will constantly be in poverty. For you have limited God and your own belief of how things can happen in your life. God could pay your debt today by telling you to go look in your trash can and there, you will find $30,000. Be open minded! God wants to help in His own way! Just follow up with what He tells you. You will be amazed! Today say, “No more limitations Jesus!”

Matt 27:45-46 – Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

What a romantic story! Jesus is hanging, and darkness starts to draw near to him. The very sin that separated man from God starts to creep in and attach itself to Jesus’ pure consciousness. Once it is in place, it causes Jesus’ awareness and belief to change. He starts to take on the sinful conscience man has been trap in for thousands of years. He starts to think God has left him. He cries out, “Why have you forsaken me,” and it marks the moment that Jesus takes on and becomes sin for man. The sin that marred the consciousness of man, is causing Jesus to be no longer aware of God and separated from Him. The sin and old consciousness that was upon humanity starts to leave the atmosphere of the world and attach to Jesus, and the world begins to be released from all bondage. In Mark 15:39, you can see the beginning stages of freedom start to unfold through the centurion’s statement, who is standing nearest to the cross. The veil or sin lifts off his mind first and attaches to Jesus. Suddenly He sees God as He is. He then says, “Surely this was the Son of God!” Suddenly, man becomes aware of God again and is no longer separated from Him, while Jesus becomes non aware. Jesus becomes the nature of sinful man so that man can become the nature of God. You see, it was sin that slithered into the consciousnesses of man, that caused man to be separated from the awareness of God, but God has never separated from man. Man has separated from God. Believe in what Jesus did at the cross, and the illusion that sin brings upon your mind will lift and the awareness of God will begin in your life. You will start your process of being transformed into the very nature of God. I pray that you see Him as He is today!

Psalms 118:23-25 – This was the Lord’s doing
It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.

Today celebrates the time when Jesus was raised from the grave, and the dead were risen and appeared to all men.

Jesus was not resurrected for those that are just in church today, but was resurrected for the whole world. Those whose lives are dead and trapped in darkness, He has made alive and has given them a brand new life. They are just not aware of it yet. Celebrate this day by minim-icing what Jesus did this day. He gave Life to the dead, not the living. Reach out to someone and give Life and Love today. Just maybe they will vibrate again with Life, Hope, and Love again, and all will see that God is truly alive in the dead.

Matt 21:1-5
Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. 3 And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”
All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
“Tell the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.’”

Of course when we read this passage we know that Jesus is about to make His entry into Jerusalem. But what is so strange is that he is riding on a young donkey or colt that is not trained and has been tied up or bound. What is so wonderful about this passage is that it sums up the type of people the Father would send Jesus to get and loosen from those things that they were bound too, so that they can be carriers His glory. Even His own disciples actions were at times like a donkey – stubborn, argumentative, having selfish ambition, and cutting off peoples ears. These are the type of people that the Father chose to allow His glory to ride upon. He gave it to them in Acts 2. These were the type of people that had the opportunity to see and follow Jesus in person. So, you may say, “God can’t use me because I act like an ass, and I am all bound up. But Father looks down at you and says to the Spirit, “Go get that one! I want my glory and power to ride upon that one, and be one that represents my Son to the world. It doesn’t matter if you are bound. It doesn’t matter if you have never been trained. It doesn’t matter if your nature is horrible, God is coming to untie you and give you the opportunity to carry His glory – The Son, Jesus Christ. If you are bound up and are like a donkey. You are qualified in God’s eyes. He loves you! His grace and love is sufficient! Carry the glory of the Son!

When Jesus came as a man, He came as a selfless, considerate man, thinking about others instead of Himself. He was the first to fulfill the greatest law of all:

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39).

Jesus loved God and man equally. The same way He loved God, He loved people, because in Him was His Father’s DNA, which is love. Though He was tempted at times by the enemy to breach the love He had, Jesus refused to listen to the reasoning of the enemy, which causes man to look at himself. He would only allow His mind to focus on God. It says in Proverbs 23:7: “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” This means that we give birth to what we give the most attention to in our lives. Since Jesus’ mind was always on the Father, who is “Love,” rivers of that love flowed out of Jesus, whether it manifested through salvation, healings, miracles, deliverance, or signs and wonders. Later, the disciples shadowed this godly nature of love in II Corinthians 5:14, where Paul says that “the love of Christ controls us” (NAS).

If Jesus had paid attention to the voice of the enemy, His nature would have changed from being selfless to selfish. Focusing on Himself would have been pride in its highest state, and He would have fallen to the lowest pits of hell. The Bible says in I Corinthians 10:12-13, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” Satan fell in the pit when his heart became focused on himself, as we see in Isaiah’s response to Satan’s self-exultation:

“I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.” Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit (Isaiah 14:13-15).

The only reward we receive when we focus on ourselves is the pit, which is a form of pride, causing us to fall into a lower state of mind and hide or disconnect from the dimension of God. This happened to Adam and Eve in the Garden with Satan. When they took their minds off of God and put it on the serpent, they fell into a lower state of mind and saw themselves in a negative, perverted way. They manifested the enemy’s nature and hid from God out of fear.

In spite of this negative heritage, Jesus came and made a way for us through the cross so we could have the original nature of God back. We can have the mind of Christ again, and if, like Jesus, our minds are focused on the ways of God, we will stay in perfect peace. This is the very type of peace that Paul and Isaiah write about in Romans 16:20 – that the God of peace will crush Satan’s head under our feet, and Isaiah 26:3,- You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You. Because he trusts in You.

This peace that Jesus walked in and that delivered many people is the same peace that He has given us as well: a peace that surpasses all of our understanding—a supernatural peace. If we start believing God, the power of His tangible peace is turned on. Peace is activated within us and becomes flesh instead of it just being an idea or good information. In these days, we can’t afford to not keep our minds and trust upon the Lord. Look upon Jesus today, the mirror for mankind, and be transformed in your original nature. Today, you will walk in peace.

Mark 2:1-5, 8-12 – And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
“Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” — He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

In this small setting with Jesus, there is an answer that can solve a lot of men and women’s problems. In this scene, Jesus is trying to show the man, that in God’s mind he is excepted by heaven and has already been forgiven. Jesus causes him to be aware of God’s love by not only saying his sins are forgiven, but also calls him a “son” while still twisted and mangled not only in body, but in mind as well. One of the deceptions in the world today, is that man does not know that he has already been forgiven and excepted by God. It is even proven on the cross by Jesus. He died and took on our sins to let us know how much God had already loved and excepted us from the beginning of our sins. Yet there is a world that is trapped in believing that they are not excepted because of their sins and twisted life. They are constantly being condemned by sin. However, the presence of the love of God is coming again to show the power of the “Love of God” that was poured out for all types of people, race, color and beliefs. Once the we truly see and hear that God heals, and loves us without judgement or stipulations, the world itself will start to untangle from the deception of sin that has trapped them and run after Jesus. The people said, “We have never seen anything like this!” We will again! Get up! Take up you bed and walk. You are loved and forgiven! You are healed!

Luke 18:27 -”The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Man can never see or believe he can do the impossible through the eyes of his own understanding. Yet when man and the Spirit of God agree, all the power that has been held up for him appears and possesses his mind. Things that seemed to be impossible become the normal possibilities. He is no longer carnal, but supernatural. He has now become that which is in heaven upon the earth. He has become what heaven has been praying for – “The New Man.” Once he has put his hands to this plow, he will no longer look back. Nothing will be able to stop him. He will create a heavenly path for the Lord, people and in his own life. He will leave a trail of signs and wonders, sprouting up behind him for others to follow. Jesus showed man this mysterious path by coming and mirroring back man’s true identity that had been preordained in the heavens before the foundations of the world. It’s time for the era of the mind God and the ending of the mind of the “old man.” Come back to your true self!

As I awoke from my bed I gazed out the window and saw that, overnight, God had secretly covered Detroit with snow. God had transformed Detroit into a white, enchanted wonderland. This was not on the forecast, but it was definitely forecast by God. The love of God is coming suddenly to Detroit and will cover a multitude of sin and death that has brought forth poverty and hopelessness upon the people. What was once grey and gloom will become white as snow and bright as the light of the sun. Hope will rise and prosperity that was once dead, will once again, rise in the hearts of man. Detroit will be a hub for God. Everyone will gaze upon this region in wonder and say “Jesus is truly real.” For the word for Detroit is - Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (KJV): “For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.”
