Psalms 40:1-3 says I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth — Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord.
A lot of us grow up in this western world thinking that the Lord should work things out immediately. Nevertheless, there are dark miry pits we get ourselves into that requires a process from God to bring us out. Letting patience have its way in our lives, allows God’s will to work and set us in a place that we wouldn’t have ever thought possible. Trust God and live.
