2 Peter 3:10-13 says, But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
This scripture confirms a lot of things that are beginning on the earth now. Men that have their minds in earthly understanding will see nothing but dread and fear. They will think what is happening upon the earth is the “thief” himself. Some will fall dead because of panic. Nevertheless, those with their minds connected to the Holy Spirit, will see and understand that God is creating new heavens and a new earth. They will rejoice during these dark moments for they will see God and not the enemy. When darkness is upon the earth it only confirms that God is brooding again over us! We must see God during these times! Pray for God to give you understanding and discernment! The New Jerusalem is coming! God’s Dwelling Place! Seek the Lord while He made be found!
