Scripture for the Day

Luke 5:4-8 says When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”

There are many jobs and careers that man operates in daily out of his own educated power. This at times only leaves him empty handed. Nevertheless, if he ever started his daily routine by the direction of the voice of the Spirit, the windows of heaven would open and pour out a blessing that would cause him to repent and become the true leader that God called him to from the foundation of the world. Remember, the kindness of God is the cause of men turning in the right direction. Allow God in your routine today and watch the your routine be enhanced. God just wants to be with us and help. Let Him.
