Isaiah 14:13-15 For you have said in your heart:’I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. The moment man starts thinking about himself, he is cast out of the presence of God and into the lowest pit.
Man cannot be aware of God if he is thinking of his own self desires. The enemy knows that if he can keep man focused in the dimension of selfish desires, man will be translated geographically in the spirit to a place of darkness and torment. Nevertheless, if man ever turns his focus off himself and own to God, like the quickness of a lightening strike, he is removed from darkness into His marvelous light. (The Throne Room of God)
