The Untouchables

Luke 17:11-16 11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

Today there are many people that feel like the ten lepers in this story of Jesus.   The lepers lives were literally falling apart and were a disease to the community. Leaving them to dwell afar off from any form of love or acceptance.  You can see this type of mentality by how they positioned themselves toward Jesus. They felt that they could never get close to Him, so they thought to yell out to see if this man that healed and loved all, would stop for a moment, look their way in the distance, and have compassion on their disease as well.  When their minds saw that Jesus stopped His whole journey for the ultimate diseased and rejected, a explosion of faith, hope and love rose up out of their soul and met Jesus’ compassionate words he spoke in mid air, kissed, and became one. Causing a complete healing to happen within their bodies and mind.

God will stop His whole plan and journey for the diseased and unstable.  If you are sick or feel as though you are a disease to the world, just know today God loves you. He will stop everything to help heal and put you back together.  Though man has not turned your way to help, God will.  Turn to Him and he will definitely turn to you.  Those that call His name He will answer and heal. He loves you.
