Prophetic Vision For This Season

In the past several months, true prophetic vision seems as though it has been almost shut down to nothing. Even though several things are being heralded in the air, there is very little substance or change that’s occurring. As I was pondering this issue, I asked the Lord, “Why is all of this happening?” “Why are you not releasing future revelation?” Suddenly, I was caught up in a vision and saw a group of people standing in front of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was beginning to teach them the mysteries of Christ; yet instead of beholding Him, they were “peering” over the Lord’s shoulder to see the future as though what He had to say was not as important as getting vision for the coming days.

One group became aware of their fault and fell under great conviction, and repented to the Lord. As they beheld Him and listened to Him, they began glowing white with great authority, and began transforming into the very image of the Lord. Suddenly Jesus transformed into a huge Door. The Door opened wide, and those who were gazing upon Him entered in the Kingdom of God, and became one with the Father. Once that certain group had entered, the “Door” disappeared. Jesus had vanished, leaving the other group to themselves.

The second group of people had continued to gaze over His shoulder, and what they thought was the future given by God, was being seen by their own will, instead of Christ’s. They began to prophesy vain imaginations instead of true vision. I realized they had become “familiar” with their relationship with Jesus. When the Lord began dialing down their vision to teach them the mysteries of Christ, they assumed that what they were hearing was elementary and not important as seeing into the future. What I realized is that they began entering the spirit realm another way, instead of through Jesus Christ. The scripture in John 10:1-2, came to me and I now knew it deeper than I ever had before.

John 10:1-2
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

This clearly shows that we can enter into the realms of the spirit, but yet, “the other way”, is either soulish or demonic and out of the order without Christ Jesus. The people began to truly believe their “will” was God’s “will” leading them as though they had become “one” with Him. Yet in reality they had taken on the delusional thought that they were “mature” and needed to move on to higher realms of God.

I also took notice that once they took their eyes off the Lord, they were no longer being transformed into His likeness. This gave me so much understanding of what is happening now. Most of those that are prophesying their heavenly experience with the Lord, are not transformed or changed themselves. Most who have a “true” experience, from the Lord speak more about the Lord than they do their experience.

There is also a transformation of character and nature that occurs almost instantly. (2Cor.3:18) Those that were not beholding the Lord were not being transformed into His nature. This group didn’t realize they were taking own the very nature that caused Satan to fall, “pride”. They felt they could go higher than the knowledge of the “simplicity of Christ”, when all of the while, the learning of Christ Jesus was the “key” to opening the Door to enter into oneness with God.

As Jesus began to vanish, they were unaware He had left. They had forgotten the Lord their God and had become a vulnerable target for the enemy. They had taken the bait of Satan.

This is definitely one of the traps that we all can fall under, and some today are falling for it. These days there are major temptations to gather futuristic revelations of events, even when the Lord is not speaking. Some of this temptation is caused from the pressure of people who are in fear and feel as though they have to know what is coming to get prepared, not realizing they can access the Lord for themselves.

This is one of the reasons Christ Jesus was crucified, so that all can come boldly before the throne of grace and access God themselves. For we all have a high priest who can sympathize with us, and was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Heb. 4:15-16) These temptations that come are so great that it can cause us to ignore the “still small voice” within, (the Holy Spirit) and gaze into the future with our gift without by the “will” of God. This causes us to see through the mind of the will of man, instead of through the mind of God.

We will find ourselves prophesying to please people instead of the Lord. We have to remember that the Lord Jesus is the only mediator between man and God. (1Tim.2-5) We are not man’s mediator, nor are we man’s Psychics to be used when called upon. We are the Lord Jesus Christ’s bondservants, not the enemies’ slave. (1Tim. 2:5-6) This is something the Lord is serious about. This type of event happened during the time of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 14:14
And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

The greatest vision that man can have right now in His life is the vision of the Lord Jesus Himself. Let us all turn back to the Lord and resist the bait of the enemy. For this is the season to allow Him to break every yoke, and lift every heavy burden off of us so that we can come back to Jesus and learn of Him. (Matt. 11:29) We are definitely entering into the days of the Lord, and it is the Lord that we are to focus on, not the things of this world. We are not to give into the pressure of the people to prophesy visions that are only conjured from our minds instead of the will of the Lord. Lets turn to Him, for He is our true vision.

If we will turn back to Jesus, the veil will be removed and we will find ourselves transforming into the very image that we behold – causing
us to entering into the place of becoming “one” with the Father and His son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is our future event that is upon us.
