When Adam sinned and went against the conscience of God that was ruling within their minds, they became aware of themselves. That day, “self-conscience” came into being. This led to running from God and birthing two spirits that Satan had carried, which were, accusation and excuse. These two attitudes only lead to death within a man. However, Jesus came to take that away from us through His resurrection. If we begin to put our minds upon Him, and His word, our minds begin to be renewed back to God’s original design, which is having the mind of Christ instead of the mind of “self”. 1Peter 3:21, 2 Cor. 3:18
