Genesis 2:9 – “And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”
Genesis 2:16-17 – “And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
THE POWERS OF THE AGE
When most of us read about God commanding Adam and Eve not to eat the tree of knowledge of good and evil, we fail to realize they could not only digest anything that was evil, but also could not partake of any knowledge that was good. For both lead them to focusing on themselves instead of God. This type of spirit leads man to walk away from God and into death. The “Knowledge of the Tree of Life”, takes man’s focus off themselves, and onJesus. This allows them walk in the Spirit of Life and away from death.
As in Genesis 3, the powers of the air in the age are releasing a “flood” good knowledge and “evil” knowledge, which most are digesting. (Rev.12:15) (Isaiah 59:19) Like in the Garden of Eden, with Adam and Eve, even his own chosen people or most Christians, are partaking of this evil spirit. It’s addicting, and desirable just as it was with Eve. However, this is causing delusion to many, by deceptively making them think they can still be close to God, and still be able to choose His/Her own knowledge. Unaware, this releases not only havoc within the mind, but it is now causing division between man and God, one another, governments, and family. The ultimate result will be death and destruction to many upon the earth. We see this spirit working during the early stages of the earth in Genesis 4. Cain, which is a shadow of one that walks according to his “own” knowledge that causes him to assume God “should” be pleased with Him according to the way he works and thinks. This type is “self-centeredness” and only divides us from the Lord and each other. Then there is Abel, who walked according to what God wanted, which is a mentality of the Spirit or the mentality that is given from the “Tree of Life” which causes one to turn their focus on what “they” want, to desiring what “God” wants.
CAIN MENTALITY
Cain, the representation of the fruit of the “knowledge of good and evil”, killed Abel, which comes from the fruit of the “knowledge of God or Life.” We see later in the Word of God that the same spirit manifest through man, to destroy the Son of God, that walked according to the knowledge of the Tree of Life or Spirit of God and did not partake of any knowledge of evil or good. Right now, man is eating of evil and thinks he/she is doing a good thing. Man is also eating of good and thinking he/she is doing a good thing. However, both are leading man to violence, rage, persecution, and death of not only their own souls, but also destroying one another.
THE FLOOD OF EVIL AND RISING OF GOD
Right now the enemy has opened its mouth to release a flood of knowledge of good and evil. However, there is a huge movement coming to God’s people who will turn back toward to the Lord, resulting in the Spirit of Jesus, which is God’s standard, to rise and break forth within their soul like a fountain of His life. This will result in God reviving Christians from darkness to Light, which are His laborers for the great harvest that is coming upon the earth. Then, when man begins to turn back to the Lord, the earth will begin to be restored and healed again. (Chronicles 7:14)
NATURAL RESULTS
We will also see pockets of God’s Spirit of Life to sovereignly move without the help of man, in small pockets of the earth that will awaken many to not want the knowledge of this world, but desire the knowledge of God. Because of thousands choosing the knowledge of God, social media, news, and governments, will see a major fall control and financial stability. For thousands will be addicted to God and no longer relying on social entertainment, or leaning on the governments to sustain them. This will bring great fear upon many who are still relying on man, and their hearts will fail them. This will also cause many to cry out to God and He will hear from heaven and deliver them from themselves.
CULTURE OF KNOWLEDGE VS GOD
In this move of God, thousands will return to eating of the knowledge of the Life. This is a vision of thousands wanting to know Jesus, and rejecting culture of devouring evil and good knowledge. The results of this culture change, we will see the greatest discipleship movement that the earth has ever seen. Most of the discipling will be “one on one”, or many in homes being discipled by Christians who have returned to Him as well. They will carry major authority and understanding, for they were in that bondage as well at one time. For what we are delivered of or have overcome, we are given authority in that area. This will result in another movement of Love for not only God, but for one another. This will begin the culture of Jesus and the culture of knowledge will begin to fall. We will see many lay down his/her life for the gospel, and for their brothers and sisters. With all this occurring, there will be a great persecution and death to those who believe and walk in the nature and love of Jesus; even within the United States. Yet, by the time this begins, there will be so much joy that has filled the heart of man that they will see it all as an opportunity to lay down their lives for the master, Jesus Christ and for their brethren.
HOSPITALITY
As we see darkness cover the earth, small lights of God will be turned on within people’s homes to welcome many who want to follow and be discipled in the ways of Jesus. The “spirit of hospitality” will be one of the main natures of God that will destroy the works of the devil and turn the earth back to Jesus. Thousands, including enemies will see God’s people not only loving one another, but they will experience them genuinely loving their enemies. This will cause the Spirit of God to open their eyes to know that Jesus is truly alive, causing thousands of enemies of the cross to run towards Jesus’ open arms and into the Kingdom of God. We see this shadow depicted on the cross when the thief recognized Jesus as God, but also when the Centurion, that was watching Jesus love them, all while they crucified Him. (Luke 23:42, Mark 15:39)
DROP IT ALL
We must drop all our desire to know knowledge, and turn to know the Person Jesus Christ. We must seek to lose the lust of wanting our own life or way for His sake, then we will find Him. Once this occurs, one will never want to look back. (Matthew 16:25)
