Scripture for the Day

2 Sam 23:3-4 says, ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the fear of God.
And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds,
Like the tender grass springing out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.’

This piece of scripture reflects how the Lord’s personality was when He walked the earth with men in the New Testament. He honored God instead of the thoughts of men. Each day someone in the crowd had the privilege to experience and watch all their shadows and pains disappear because the Son would decide to rise upon their world and bring life, hope and light upon their darkness. Darkness would disappear off man and glory would reappear as it was with them with Him before the foundations of the world. When he spoke, the words which were life, would cause all of the demonic clouds in the mind to disappear. His words were like wind blowing clouds away after a rainy day. When man heard him for the first time, it was as though he woke up out of a deep sleep into a morning of peace with life singing outside of the windows of his mind. He treated man as with tenderness of a faithful gardner who watches over his prized plants. Giving them the life and light that they needed to grow into perfection and wholeness. Jesus was just. He was a beautiful ruler. He is and always will be the Great Ruler of All.
