John 5:26-27 says, For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.
God granted Jesus all power and authority on the earth and in heaven. That power consisted of pure life. Life that could overcome and swallow death. This life possessed and controlled Jesus to give life to everyone He would encounter, even His enemies. One of the reasons that Jesus could walk in the full power of life is because Jesus would decide daily to die to his self will and give into the Spirit’s will. To walk in real life giving power, man must decide to die daily to himself. God does not give life to the living, He gives life to the dead. Man has a choice to let death (carnality) possess his walk or he can let life (Spirit of God) control it. Today, lose your life and let heaven control you.
