John 6:8-14 says, One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
One day the Lord took me back in the spirit to this scene to observe during this miracle. After I had watched the miraculous transformation of the bread and fish and all the people weeping under the love of God, Jesus turn to me with a smile and asked me,
“Who fed them?” I answered, “You did Lord.” With excitement in His face, He asked me again, “Who fed them?” I didn’t know what to say at this point, so I said, “I don’t know.” He then turn toward the young boy that brought the loaves and fish,as though He was proud of him and said, “He did!” I then understood what he was saying. Through the faith of a child, God was stirred to feed five thousand with the little that he had. The boy was faithful with little and received much afterward. The child received the reward that day. With excitement and expectation, the child knew that Jesus was going to feed the 5,000 with what he had. If one child can feed 5,000 through Jesus Christ, what could we do if we used our faith with the little that we have? Look at the little you have through the eyes of a little child and see the big picture of your possession. What you have can change peoples lives. Every man has the perfect amount to do a miracle for one or thousands through Jesus Christ! Every man has hidden in him faith of a little child! Believe and Change!
