1 Peter 3:7 says, Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
This scripture doesn’t mean that women are weaker than men. It is actually the opposite of the meaning that it has been taught. If a clay pot (vessel) was made with a then layer of clay, it would be considered a “weak” vessel. This only means that man would have to take “specific care” in handling that curtain pot. It would be considered a bit more important than all of the other pots. This is the kind treatment man should be administrating to women or his wife. This scripture also tells us, if a man’s prayers are not being answered and his intimacy with God is a bit dry, he might want to consider how he is treating his wife. For the way man treats his wife, is the way he will be treated from heaven. For the wife is considered by God “Christ” in a women suit. Whatever we do to the woman we do it to His son. Give your life and honor to your wife (the woman), and watch the windows of heaven open today. Jesus did it with us!
