Blind of Who We Have On Board

Mark 4:36-38
36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. 37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

Here we see that the disciples are in a storm, yet they have God at rest in there stern. When they woke him up and said that they were perishing, they were including Jesus as well in that fearful statement. They didn’t realize that God will not commit suicide. Why would God consume or kill Himself? There are times when storms arise in a man’s life, he forgets that God is at rest in his stern (spirit). Fear always tries to blind men and women to the reality of Power (Christ) that is at rest and easily accessible within themselves. Once man realizes who is on board with him Peace arises within and calms the storm. Know Jesus is on board. If you don’t have Him, ask Him to come in.
