When we pray, “God I want to be like You,” He will send us sovereign relationships or people in our lives that don’t even come close to our liking. This jump starts the process of growing into Him.
Remember, none of the relationships that the Father told Jesus to connect with were not even close to being like Him. They helped Him grow in wisdom and stature. It also helped Him learn obedience with His Father by the things that He suffered by being with them.
I WANT WHAT GOD WANTS….OH NO!
