John 6:9, 11-13 – “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted. So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.”
As we can see in this setting, the Lord’s disciples doubted, or was troubled in what was handed to them. For they were certain that what they received from God was not enough to fulfill the vision that was set before them. Nevertheless God clearly shows that through His Son that He gives His sons and daughters exactly what they need to release a greater measure of prosperity for their lives and for those that God draws in our path.
Today, don’t disdain or be trouble with what has been handed to you in life for it is the tool or provision that can get you to your destination and more. Take what you have, give it to Jesus, and watch or listen to what He tells you to do with it. You will be amazed as the disciples were.
