Matt 4:3-4
Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'”
If the enemy could cause a breach with Jesus and the Father like he performed with Adam and Eve, then there wouldn’t be away for the fullness of God’s power and presence to manifest on the earth.
Thank God Jesus held on! His priority was in His relationship with His Father than His calling and all the prophecies that had been herald throughout the ages by the prophets of old. Relationship was more important that the things that were temporal, Godly, and satisfying to the soul.
