John 1:32-33 says, And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.
In the old testament the priest would carry the “Ark of the Covenant” (the presence of God) upon their shoulders. With this type of responsibility and weight, required everyone to walk in an orderly and careful fashion. Jesus walked in this fashion spiritually as well when carrying the presence of God upon Him. Jesus walked in such obedience and sensitivity with the Spirit that the manifest presence never lifted. God looks for men and women, boys and girls who walk in obedience and sensitivity to the Spirit. Those He finds are given the privilege to carry the manifest presence of God upon there natural lives. They will not only be carriers of the presence within, but they will also carry it without. These are the ones who are possessed by the presence of God. The “Ark of the Covenant” was pitched with gold within and pitched with gold on the outward. Those that keep a pure heart within and a pure walk on the outside will carry God’s manifest presence. How delicate should man walk in life to keep the dove from flying away?
