When God invites man to partner with him man, first will say, “yes,” but afterward the enemy will slither in like a snake and abort the blessing in his life by presenting to him “other commitments” he must make as well, not knowing he is being dragged back into the desert of the world and missing the blessing of God that is set before him. Besides, earthly commitments only have a glory for just a few minutes of time, then burns out, but the works that we do with God last forever. Don’t let the “important worries” of the world choke out what God has called you to do. It’s not that that our concerns are not important, but if you we have committed to God on a certain call, do all that you can to put it first.
(Luke 14:16-23)
