Psalms 106:43-47 says, Many times He delivered them;
But they rebelled in their counsel,
And were brought low for their iniquity.
44 Nevertheless He regarded their affliction,
When He heard their cry;
45 And for their sake He remembered His covenant,
And relented according to the multitude of His mercies.
46 He also made them to be pitied
By all those who carried them away captive.
47 Save us, O Lord our God
The Lord looks down daily upon the earth and sees thousand of children that were born from his womb, rebelling against Him and conforming into the nature of darkness, instead of being the God given nature that they were born with. You would think for as long as He has been watching, He would eventually get angry and destroy man. Yet over thousands of years of gazing at us, His eyes glow and sparkle with mercy and kindness. He then reaches down again and delivers us out of our trouble. Those that are carried off into the caves of darkness, He comes down with Light and finds those that are being tortured by the demons of the world, takes them by the hand, and walks them out into the golden fields of freedom. It doesn’t matter what you have done or what kind of bondage you are in, God is man’s “Knight” in shining armor whose heart is willing to always rescue. Let Him come where you are.
